Account Executive
The Account Executive will sell group tickets, picnics, corporate outings, and season tickets.
The ideal candidate will possess the initiative to continuously prospect for new customers and create unique group outings for potential customers. Must be willing to work long hours and weekends.
Work experience requirements:
Must have previous sales experience
Must have knowledge of the local El Paso market
Education Requirements:
College Degree
High school diploma or GED

Duration: April/May – August 2008
Pay Rate: Unpaid Internship
Description:
Primary responsibility includes assisting the Diablos marketing and PR efforts to drive people through the gates of Cohen Stadium for Diablos and Cohen Stadium Events. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist in the fulfillment of the Diablos promotional schedule
Assist with the placement of Diablos advertising
Assist in creating fan surveys and extracting information from those surveys to better market the Diablos
Assisting in sourcing/ordering/receiving of promotional items
Helping to work with the media outlets on the fulfillment of their promotional night sponsorship
Assist in designing, producing, and distributing game program and media guide
Assist in coordinating and executing all press conferences
Requirements:
Sophomore - Senior working towards a college degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, PR or related field
Strong passion for the Sports/Entertainment Industry
Minimum 2.5 GPA
Must work 5-10 per week and be willing to work up to 20 hours starting in April/May
One internship will begin ASAP through August
Must work all 49 home games including nights and weekends
