EL PASO- The Diablos will open their fifth season in the American Association at home against the Sioux City Explorers with a four day homestand starting May 13, 2010. Before commencing their regular season, the Diablos will host the Heroes of the Diamond “Red, White and Blue Tour,” which features armed forces personnel from all branches, by playing an exhibition game on May 8th at 7:05 pm. It would not be a Diablos baseball season without the always amazing Independence Day Celebration, which features the largest fireworks display on July 4th. The Diablos will conclude their 2010 regular season on the road with a three day homestand against the Wichita Wingnuts.
The 2010 promotional schedule promises new, exciting, out of the box promotions. As always, it will feature fan favorite popular promotions such as Firework Fridays, Thirsty Thursdays and QuarterMania Sundays. SpongeBob and Patrick will also be returning for a special appearance in 2010. Other promotions such as the “Ugliest Men Competition” will award the two ugliest fan males a complete makeover.  The complete promotional schedule will be released in early February.
