<p style="margin-bottom:10.0pt" class="MsoNormal">Durham, N.C. – <strong><span style="font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;">Miles Wolff</span></strong>, Commissioner of the American Association and the Can-Am League, announced on Wednesday that the two leagues will play an interlocking schedule for the 2012 season.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:10.0pt" class="MsoNormal">The Can-Am League will adopt the AA’s 100-game schedule, with play starting May 17 and ending September 3. Five Can-Am teams will make one 10-game road trip to AA cities, and five AA teams will play 10 games each at Can-Am ballparks, for a total of 100 interleague games.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:10.0pt" class="MsoNormal">“We are excited to be able to bring both leagues together. It will provide new competition, and fans will be able to see a variety of teams from both the U.S. and Canada,” Wolff said.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:10.0pt" class="MsoNormal">The American Association will consist of three divisions in 2012. The South Division includes the Amarillo Sox, El Paso Diablos, Grand Prairie AirHogs, and the Laredo Lemurs. The Gary SouthShore RailCats, Kansas City T-Bones, Lincoln Saltdogs, Sioux City Explorers and the Wichita Wingnuts make up the Central Division, while the North Division consists of the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, St. Paul Saints, Sioux Falls Pheasants and the Winnipeg Goldeyes.</p>

<p><font><font size="2" face="tahoma"><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:10pt"><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:10pt"><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:10pt"><span>Durham,  N.C. – American Association commissioner Miles Wolff announced on  Monday that the Laredo (Texas) Lemurs have been formally accepted as a  member of the league for the 2012 season. The club’s new 6,000-seat  ballpark, an $18 million project developed by the City of Laredo, is  scheduled to be completed in early May. <br />

“We are extremely proud  to welcome Laredo as a member of the American Association.The plans for  the new stadium are impressive, and we expect great things from this  team. Laredo has a great baseball history, and the city will be an  outstanding addition to the league,” Wolff commented.<br />

The team  will be owned by Laredo Baseball Investors, LLC. The Lemurs’ president  and chief executive officer is Mark Schuster, a longtime professional  baseball executive. <br />
